"Kaila Devi Temple" is situated 23 km from Karauli in the Karauli District in Rajasthan State in India. The temple is located on the banks of the Kalisil River, a tributary of the Banas River in the hills of Trikut, 2 km to the north-west of Kaila village.
Temple is a marble structure with a large courtyard of a checkered floor. In one place, there are a number of red flags planted by devotees.
A fair known as Kaila Devi Fair is held here every year in the month of Chaitra, starting from Chaitra Budi 12 and lasting for a fortnight.
People around Karauli, Dholpur, Agra, Mathura & Morena and western Rajasthan also worship Kaila Devi as their Kuldevi.
There are two statues in the temple, one is of Kaila Devi and another is of Chamunda Devi both are sitting together.
Bigger one is of Kaila Devi and head of statue is slightly bent. People come here from across the country especially during Navratra (period of 9 days).
